Plant Identification and Optimal Potency

Every herb we grow is carefully inspected by qualified botanists to ensure proper species identification. To ensure accuracy we use a variety of methods including visual and microscopic inspection, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Growing areas are selected to yield herbs with the highest potency as measured by their active ingredients and expert Ayurvedic herbalists ensure that they are harvested at the optimal time using the proper techniques. We use only whole herbs, not extracts, so that our formulas are assimilated by the body like food rather than drugs. This minimizes side effects and allows for all the components of the herbs to be used as nature intended.

Clean, Pure, High Quality Herbs

We require microbiological testing and certificates of analysis from all of our suppliers on every batch of herbs. The herbs are tested for aerobic microbial count, yeast and molds, coliforms, e. coli, and salmonella to ensure they are free from contamination.

TESTING PROCEDURES AND INFORMATION

Heavy Metal Testing

Metals are not used in any of our formulations. Our herbal tablets are manufactured in the U.S. in a pharmaceutical grade manufacturing facility. The finished products are tested in independent laboratories for lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium. All of our products are within the safety guidelines stipulated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American National Standards Institute International Dietary Supplement Standard (ANSI 173).
