Healthy Kapha, 90 tablets, 500 mg
This is a rather new product from Banyan Botanicals. As its name suggests, it was developed to reduce excess kapha. It is intended for long-term use by those with kapha constitutions and for temporary use by those going through a period of kapha imbalance due to seasonal changes or other factors.
Since kapha tends to accumulate in the lungs, this formula is warm enough to liquefy thick phlegm, but it also helps support proper elimination of excess fluids as well as better immune system function. To this extent, the formula might be regarded as an appropriate rasayana for those who live in cold or damp climates or for those with tendencies towards sluggishness.
Ingredients: Bibhitaki fruit (Terminalia belerica)*, Chitrak root (Plumbago zeylanica)*, Punarnava root (Boerhaavia diffusa)*, Tulsi leaf (Ocimum sanctum)*, Turmeric root (Curcuma longa)*, Bhumyamalaki herb (Phyllanthus fraternus)*, Ginger root (Zingiber officinale)*, Pippali fruit (Piper longum)*.
