Chyawanprash, 60 capsules

Chyawanprash is a highly revered rasayana tonic whose first authenicated formula was published in the 4th century B.C. It is usually produced as a jam, based on amla, a tropical gooseberry with 30 times more vitamin C than oranges. This formula has been modified so as to make it available in capsule form. The sweeteners and oils have been omitted along with a few herbs and spices.

Ayurvedic Herbal Formula for Healthy Hair

Healthy Hair, 90 tablets

Ayurvedic teachers differ on whether hair loss and premature graying are due to vata or pitta, but all agree that luxurious, strong hair is the prize of those with water and earth constitutions. Bhringaraj leaf is the main ingredient in all Ayurvedic hair formulas. It aids both the scalp and hair. This formula supports the liver's work of removing toxins and may be more suitable for those whose hair issues stem from exposure to toxins (as opposed to male pattern baldness which is more of an adrenal issue.)

Shatavari - Ayurvedic Rasayana for Women

Shatavari, 90 tablets

Just as the name suggests, this herb belongs to the asparagus family, but it is the root that is used in Ayurvedic medicine. Shatavari is considered to be one of the true rasayana or longevity plants and while it is the herb of choice for women, especially during the change of life such as puberty and menopause, but also during pregnancy and while nursing. It helps women to overcome dryness and through this mechanism increases tissue elasticity and lubrication, thereby enhancing pleasure and protecting tissue from trauma. It can also be used by men. It supports immunity, intellect, and stamina.

Ingredients: Shatavari root, Asparagus racemosus*.

Stone Breaker Extract, 2 oz.

Phyllanthus amarus in known in South America as "chanca piedra" or breaker of stones. There, it is used mainly for kidney stones but also for gall stones and many other disorders ranging from malaria to liver cancer. In Ayurvedic medicine Phyllanthus amarus is known as bhumi amalaki. It is revered as a major detoxifying and liver rejuvenative herb. It is recommended that it be used in small amounts over a long period of time. Modern studies support traditional uses and suggest that Phyllanthus amarus prevents mutation of liver cells when exposed to carcinogens.

Ingredients: Phyllanthus amarus leaf extract, 1:3, in Distilled Water, Organic Alcohol, and Vegetable Glycerin.
